Character Bio

Mr. Red is an official mascot for the Cincinnati Reds. The character first appeared in 1953 as a cartoon figure based on a 19th-century "Red Stockings" ballplayer, with a baseball for a head. The modern clean-shaven version was reintroduced in 2012.
